Projects
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Our main goal is to ensure that vulnerable women and children are provided with all the tools they need to overcome their situations as well as to develop their future as many of our target beneficiaries have suffered a great deal of pain, trauma, abuse, uncared for and have been given little or no opportunities. Every 8 weeks some of the GCC staff go to malls and parks in our surrounding neighbourhoods, our services catchments areas are; Hillbrow, Berea, Yeoville, Bellevue East, Bez Valley, Orange Grove which are underserved and predominantly black communities. We set up a stand and create community awareness on Grace Community Centre and the services that we provide for our communities.
FEEDING SCHEME
Every Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 12:00pm we hand out to Support Group moms and dads whatever food we managed to get through donations from various stores and restaurants. This food is normally raw and can be prepared at home for a decent family meal.

It is important that children not learn with an empty stomach therefore we have a feeding scheme at our Berea Branch for all the benefecieries that come to the centre after school. The children are provided with a warm plate of food and juice before they are assisted with their homework.
MEDIA CENTRE
Media centre is one of our programmes that are tailored for community empowerment through Information Technology communication and School extramural activities. We currently have 32 children that are registered at our centre. Their ages range from age 6 to age 19. We have a media centre that has six computers for them to share and there is a teacher that teaches them basic computer skills every Mondays and Thursdays from 2:00pm until 5:00pm furthermore the computers are also available to the organisation for capacity building purposes. We also have staff that is available to assist the children with their homework and school projects every day after school at the centre until 4:00pm.
The selection criteria of our beneficiaries groups are based on the three causal experiences that influence the lives our key target groups. These are: poverty, diseases and inequalities.

Many of our target beneficiaries have suffered a great deal of pain, trauma and abuse and have been given little or no opportunities. Beneficiaries are categorised according to their needs, conditions, age groups and the severity of their pleas. Solutions are drawn up from the initial admission and through out the program. However, in terms of race group, our program-services are benefiting to the majority black population.

We have support group every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am -12:00pm.
Our support groups are not just about talking about doom and gloom. We also empower each other by discussing our succesful stories and testimonials. We also have trained counsellors at the centre that are available Monday to Friday to provide emotional care and support to our fellow community members.
